Mechanical Cake Stand

Intro

I built this cake stand for my friend's birthday. Their partner wanted to surprise them with a spectacular cake that did something cool when you turned the crank, and this is what I came up with. I cannot take credit for the amazing cake, though.

The stand is printed in PETG, and it uses pretty standard hardware. It took a few tries to get the lift mechanism just right.
