CNC Router
This is my small, benchtop CNC router. It's built out of OpenBuilds rail, designed mostly as a clone of their OX. I modified the design to change it from belt drive to lead screw driven. It uses Nema 23 motors, and is powered by Grbl. The aluminum plates were cut by hand using a bandsaw and drill press. In order to make the nuts for the lead screws, I milled a tap out of a section of threaded rod.
The machine has a small work envelope - about 300mm x 300mm x 50mm. I use it for all sorts of stuff - robot parts, keyboard plates, switch panels, shop tools.
