Micrometer Cases
I have a large collection of micrometers, from 0mm to 300mm. They are vintage Mitutoyo models, and most came with amazing wooden cases.
Four of my micrometers that didn't have cases, so I decided to make my own. The two smaller ones have sliding lids, and the two large ones have hinged lids. The boxes are made out of oak, with plywood tops and bottoms. The box joints were cut on my table saw, and the pockets for the wrenches and length standards were cut on my CNC.
I store micrometers with VCH paper to help preserve them.
