Rock Clock
I seem to have a penchant for being gifted broken clocks. This a replica of a German design. It originally only had a single hand - the hour. Many of the parts were missing. While the original clock was made of wood, this replica is a sort of pressed plastic. I had no qualms about fixing a plastic clock with plastic gears. The acorn weights have M12 nuts inside for mass.
This clock is not accurate - it seems to run at different speeds throughout the day. I believe some of the original gear train parts are bent. It's also very loud, due to the mass of the counterweights.
