I built a small device to live in Claw Viper to stream real-time data back to us during a fight. The idea is that it would be a self-contained unit that wouldn't interfere with the robot, and would help us adjust to changing conditions. E.g., if the motors are overheating, maybe back off a bit.

This initial model just handles acceleration data, but ideally it'd be able to capture things like voltage, amp draw, motor and battery heat, etc. The device is about the size of a deck of cards, and has two accelerometers inside - one for fine details, one for higher G loads. It connects to a tablet via LoRa (on a much different frequency than is used to drive the robot), and data can be viewed in real time.
